In the first act you explore it during daylight hours, but later you get to see it at night. Jensen will embark on a mission, returning home to find a different spin on the city. To make up for the single hub, Prague is remixed several times over the course of the game. Seconds later the entire police force was hunting me down and trying to kill me. I had a strange moment where I tasered a guy robbing a store at gunpoint, thinking I was doing a good deed, and a cop saw me. Although they will react to any crimes you commit. A scene will play where they demand to see your papers, but that’s it. For example, entering a metro station through the naturals-only entrance, or getting on the wrong train carriage. But now going to have to pick it up!īut I don't think the HR comics are canon based on the summaries I've read on DX wiki because if you compare its timeline and events with the HR game it just doesn't really flow well at all and without spoiling anything it makes Adam completely out of character (OOC).The police presence in Prague is never a real obstacle, but there are certain situations where they’ll bother you.

Woah thanks for showing Deus Ex Go in the timeline, I didn't even realize that game is going to have a narrative, so wasn't originally planning to buy it since I don't play mobile games. Deus Ex Go (Android/iOS game to be released on August 18th)Ĭomic and novella included with Mankind Divided's pre-orderĪnd yes, Human Revolution is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worth it. Human Revolution comics (set in the middle of Human Revolution)īlack Light (Novel set to be release alongside Mankind Divided)Ĭhildren's Crusade comics (right after Black Light)

The Fall (direct continuation from Icarus Effect) Początkowo opublikowane przez iN008 /aɪ.nu:b/:įallen Angel (Short story about Faridah Malik prior to the events of HR) So again it depends on how much you want out of MD. If you decide that HR is worth finishing because you really want to understand the story of MD fully and you enjoy the gameplay of these kind of games then you should consider playing DX1 and 2 before starting MD, especially DX1 because there are references in HR and likely moreso in MD that ties to DX1 which you would not fully appreciate unless you've played the original before. Personally I would say that all Deus Ex games (including Invisible War) are worth playing for the story. Again that's not going to be as complete as actually playing HR, but it should be enough to understand the overall story. If you're just concerned with not getting totally lost in the critical path of MD then it's not necessary to finish HR first since they will have a prologue video to MD to catch new players up to speed. I would say it's worth it because HR is a great game by itself and MD is really just trying to take it up a notch from there, but if you're feeling like it's a chore to play Human Revolution (HR) or you weren't all that engaged with it then you might want to reconsider whether you would really enjoy Mankind Divided (MD) since it's going to be more of a refinement of the Deus Ex experience rather than revolutionizing it.įrom a purely story standpoint, it really depends on whether you want to understand everything that is portrayed in MD or not.
